The Dance House Manchester – seeks to give a focus to contemporary dance and its allied arts – performance, choreographic development and music – while introducing other styles such as yoga, tai chi, capoeira, alternative life drawing. It intends to broaden the range of styles currently on offer in its regular evening programme and to increase the provision to include all week days and weekends as well as special master classes and one off tasters. In collaboration with children’s arts development company Giant Productions, The Dance House offers ‘Jump Start’ a programme of children’s classes.

Dance Initiative Greater Manchester (DiGM) is Greater Manchester’s central dance organisation providing a whole range of opportunities for dance.
DiGM’s work covers a range of community projects in the districts, to the bi-annual international festival Urban Moves. DiGM works with dance artists and companies, arts organisations, community groups, venues, local authorities and funders.
