www.awardsforall.org.uk Awards for All, England offers grants of between £300 & £10,000 for projects that improve communities, and the lives of people within them. It is for voluntary & community groups, schools and health organisations, parish and town councils.

www.artscouncil.org.uk Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery. Find out about funding streams and how to apply.

www.artswales.org.uk Arts Council of Wales – the National Assembly sponsored public body which is the principal funders of the arts in Wales.

www.artscouncil-ni.org The Arts Council of Northern Ireland website. Details of all the awards it makes. Includes funding for, art criticism, young artists, arts & disability, travel, &artists abroad, artists in education, community artists, plus more.

www.dsc.org.uk The Directory of Social Change helps voluntary and community organisations to thrive through advice on: how to raise the money they need; how to manage their resources to maximum effect; how to influence the right people; what their rights and responsibilities are; how to plan and develop for the future. They also speak out on issues affecting the sector through the media, public platforms and membership of government and advisory groups working for and within the sector.

www.fit4funding.org.uk The fit4funding website provides ‘Help & Advice’ for community groups and voluntary organisations who are seeking funding. These resources can also be used by those giving funding advice in the Voluntary and Community Sector.

www.hlf.org.uk The Heritage Lottery Fund distributes money raised by the national Lottery to support all aspects of heritage in the UK, from historic buildings and museums to archives, nature conservation and oral history. It provides both capital grants (for buildings and equipment) and time-limited activity grants. Heritage includes people as well as places, and so our funding also covers cultural and local traditions.

www.lsc.gov.uk The Learning and Skills Council exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. We have a single goal: to improve the skills of England’s young people and adults to ensure we have a workforce of world-class standard.The LSC is a non-departmental public body which began work in 2001, taking over the roles of the former Further Education Funding Council and Training and Enterprise Councils.

www.scottisharts.org.uk The Scottish Arts Council is the lead body for the funding, development and advocacy of the arts in Scotland.

www.trustfunding.org.uk Search the DSC trusts (Directory of Social Change) database anytime, anywhere, using their new internet-based service. It contains all the same data as the Grant-making Trusts CD-ROM, but will be regularly updated throughout the year. Subscribers will be sent e-mails alerting them when updates are made.
