National Association for Youth Theatres – organisation for youth theatre practice in England and Wales. NAYT supports development of youth theatre through training, advocacy, and participation programmes. Membership is open to groups or individuals using theatre techniques in their work with young people outside of formal education. NAYT plays a vital role in the advocacy and representation of youth theatre, locally, nationally and internationally.

The National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) was founded in 1899 “to protect and advance the interests of Operatic and Dramatic Art, and of Societies engaged therein.” It has a membership of some 2,300 amateur societies and 2,500 individual enthusiasts throughout the UK, staging musicals, operas, plays, concerts and pantomimes in a wide variety of performing venues, ranging from the country’s leading professional theatres to tiny village halls.
